I just got Breezy Badger (ubuntu release names crack me up), and I have some tips if you're interested.. I resized my applications panel so that it's bigger and on bottom. If you enlarge, make sure you use a high res icon. I then used a blueish abstract wallpaper. I then set the panels to be partially transparent, and used a theme which allowed the app buttons to also be transparent (forget which one). Also, Gdesklets are pretty cool, they can show you weather / CPU load etc.. I'd check it out. Anyway, it looks pretty cool imho, I might try to upload it when my E.T. dl finishes; I'm afraid to touch firefox b/c it crashes w/ fileshack downloads sometimes.3. On Oct 17 2005 @ 17:24 Jos wrote:
Thanks for commenting :)Indeed, the background/gnome theme is default in Ubuntu. These settings work just fine for me.
@tuRm: Thanks for the tips, I tried enlarging the taskbar. Maybe I'll use the rest of your tips one day :)
My screen resolution is 1024x768 because my monitor sucks :/ I need a new pc anyway :)
