After the big boom of friendly URLs, i was screaming to learn how to make my web sites have URLs like this - /about/ without making a folder and putting an index page in it, like alot of people i knew where doing. After a big dig around on google, i found a tutorial that tought me all i needed to know, and now ill share my code with you people, how may not know how to do it :).make your .htaccess file. put in it:
CODE: OTHER
php_flag session.use_trans_sid off
php_flag session.use_only_cookies on
php_flag session.use_only_cookies on
Im not going to explain what it means, i cant really remember to be honest. But it works, thats the main thing.
Now, for your links, if you have links such as:
index.php?page=blah.
make your link:
/blah/
and in the .htaccess file add the following line:
CODE: OTHER
RewriteRule ^blah/?$ index.php?page=blah
